In a significant reshuffle, 13 Indian Police Service (IPS) officers have been transferred in Uttar Pradesh. Dr. N. Ravinder has been appointed as the Additional Director General of Police (ADGP) for the Anti Corruption Organization. Dr. Sanjeev Gupta has been given the role of ADGP, Establishment, with an additional charge as ADGP, General Services Organization (GSO).
Other key transfers include Nachiket Jha, who will serve as Secretary, Home; R.K. Bhardwaj, who takes over as Inspector General of Police (IGP), Bhawan Kalyan; Akash Kulhari as IGP, Public Grievance, Office of the DGP; and Amit Pathak, who has been posted as Deputy Inspector General of Police (DIGP), Devipatan Zone in Gonda.
Further appointments see Amrendra Pratap Singh becoming DIGP, Intelligence, PHQ; Dinesh Kumar P as DIGP, Basti Range; Babloo Kumar as Joint Police Commissioner, Crime & Headquarters; Keshav Kumar Chaudhary as DIGP, Jhansi Range; Sanjeev Tyagi as Additional Police Commissioner, Agra; Kalanidhi Naithani as DIGP, Meerut Range; and Ajay Kumar, who has been appointed Incharge Additional Police Commissioner, Gautambuddha Nagar.
