New Delhi (13.05.2024): Days after superannuation as Union Secretary, Department of Justice S. K. G. Rahate (Retd IAS: 1990: JH) was appointed as Chairperson, Airports Economic Regulatory Authority (AERA) for a tenure of three years. Reportedly, he will take charge next week.
The Government of India, in accordance with the AERA Act (2008), established Airports Economic Regulatory Authority of India (AERA) to regulate tariff and other charges for aeronautical services rendered at airports.
