The Maharashtra government on appointed senior IPS officer Nawal Bajaj (IPS:1995:MH) as head of the Anti-Terrorism Squad (ATS) of State police. According to home department order, Bajaj was appointed as Additional Director General, ATS.
The post of Maharashtra ATS chief had been vacant for the last three months following Sadanand Date’s (IPS:1990:MH) appointment as Director General of the National Investigation Agency.
