Gurjinder Pal Singh, a retired officer of the Indian Police Service (IPS), has been reinstated to service by court order, effective from July 20, 2023. Singh, a 1994 batch IPS officer of the Chhattisgarh cadre, had previously retired from the service. His reinstatement follows a judicial directive, bringing him back into active duty.
