Saurav Pahari Prematurely Repatriated with Extended Cooling-Off Period

By NSB.News

Saurav Pahari (IAS: 2008: WB), who was serving as the Deputy Chairperson of the Tea Board, Kolkata under the Department of Commerce, has been prematurely repatriated to his parent cadre, West Bengal, as per official orders.

The repatriation has been made with the condition of an extended cooling-off period, making him ineligible for any further central deputation until 14th March 2030.

This move, though not uncommon in bureaucratic reshuffles, is being noted due to the specific condition of extended cooling-off, which typically indicates administrative or policy considerations behind the decision.
