V L Kantha Rao (IAS: 1992: MP), currently serving as the Secretary of the Ministry of Mines, has been assigned additional charge of the post of Secretary, Ministry of Coal. His additional tenure will be from 14th June 2025 to 23rd June 2025, during the leave period of Vikram Dev Dutt (IAS: 1993: AGMUT), the incumbent Secretary of the Ministry of Coal.
The Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) issued the official notification approving the temporary arrangement.
