Key Bureaucratic Updates: Curtailed Tenure, Cadre Change, Deputation Extension, and Diplomatic Appointment

In a series of administrative decisions, the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) has approved the following changes:

Amit Kumar Agrawal (IOFS: 2002), serving as Deputy CEO, Government e-Marketplace (GeM), has had his tenure curtailed. The reasons for the curtailment were not disclosed.

Ajitesh Kumar (CPES: 2006), Director in the Ministry of Coal, has received a six-month extension in his central deputation. His tenure now stands extended up to 04.03.2026, beyond the earlier end date of 04.09.2025. His central deputation began on 05.09.2019.

Anushtha Kalia (IPS: 2022: AGMUT) has had her cadre changed from AGMUT to Rajasthan. This change is on the grounds of her marriage to Vishal Jangid (IPS: 2022: RJ).

Rohit Rathish (IFS: 2006), currently serving as a Joint Secretary in the Ministry of External Affairs, has been appointed as the next High Commissioner of India to the Republic of Seychelles.
