V Srinivas (IAS: 1989: RJ), currently serving as Secretary, Department of Administrative Reforms & Public Grievances and Department of Pensions & Pensioners’ Welfare, has been entrusted with the additional charge of the post of Secretary, Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT).
This arrangement will be in effect from 05.09.2025 to 14.09.2025, during the leave period of Rachna Shah (IAS: 1991: KL), the regular incumbent of the post.
The temporary assignment underscores the government’s effort to ensure continuity in key administrative functions during transitional periods.
