M Arvind, a 2011-batch Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officer from the Tamil Nadu cadre, has been appointed as Director in the Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade (DPIIT), Delhi.
His appointment is for a tenure of five years, as part of the Centre’s efforts to bring in experienced officers to key policymaking and implementation roles within the department.
Arvind’s administrative expertise is expected to bolster DPIIT’s ongoing initiatives aimed at enhancing industrial growth and promoting internal trade.
