Ambica Anand, a 2009-batch officer of the Indian Statistical Service (ISS), has been appointed as Director in the Ministry of Steel.
The appointment is for a period of five years, as part of the government’s initiative to strengthen leadership roles within key economic ministries. Anand is expected to contribute significantly to policy formulation and data-driven decision-making in the steel sector.
