In a key administrative development, Rajesh Lakhani (IAS: 1992: Tamil Nadu cadre), currently serving as Commissioner, Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti under the Department of School Education and Literacy, has been entrusted with the additional charge of Director General, National Testing Agency (NTA) in the Ministry of Education.
The appointment will be for a period of one year or until further orders, whichever is earlier.
