Amrit Agrahari, a 2011-batch officer of the Indian Revenue Service (Income Tax), has been appointed as Director in the Prime Minister’s Office (PMO) for the balance period of his central deputation.
Prior to this appointment, Agrahari was serving as Director in the Department of Economic Affairs under the Ministry of Finance. His new role in the PMO reflects the government’s continued emphasis on leveraging experienced officers in key administrative positions.
