Punya Salila Srivastava, a 1993-batch IAS officer of the AGMUT cadre and the current Secretary of the Department of Health and Family Welfare in the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, has been assigned additional charge of Secretary, Ministry of Ayush.
She will hold this additional responsibility from 15 November 2025 to 23 November 2025, during the leave period of Vaidya Rajesh Kotecha.
During this interim tenure, Srivastava will oversee the Ministry of Ayush’s key programmes, policy initiatives, and coordination efforts aimed at promoting traditional systems of medicine across the country.
