Three Officers’ Posts Re-designated to Director Level

New Delhi: The post of Deputy Secretary in the Ministry of Home Affairs held by Guriqbal Singh (IPS: 2012: AGMUT) has been re-designated as Director in the same ministry for a period up to 24 February 2030. His central deputation tenure is with effect from 24 February 2025.

In another order, the post of Director of Census Operations (DCO) / Director of Citizen Registration (DCR), Haryana (Deputy Secretary level), under the Office of the Registrar General of India (RGI), currently held by Lalit Jain (IAS: 2011: HP), has been re-designated as DCO/DCR Haryana (Director level) for a period up to 06 December 2026. He has been on central deputation since 07 December 2023.

Similarly, the post of DCO/DCR, Uttarakhand (Deputy Secretary level), under the Office of RGI, held by Iva Ashish Srivastava (IAS: 2010: UD), has been re-designated as DCO/DCR, Uttarakhand (Director level) for a period up to 02 April 2026. She has been on central deputation with effect from 03 April 2023.
