India’s leading airline IndiGo has announced a strategic partnership with Adani Airport Holdings Limited (AAHL), the country’s largest private airport operator, to enhance customer benefits through its loyalty programme.
Under the collaboration, IndiGo BluChip members can now earn rewards on duty-free purchases made across AAHL-managed airports. Customers will earn five BluChips for every ₹100 spent on duty-free products that are pre-booked through the Adani digital platform.
Travellers can browse, reserve and pay for products online before departure and conveniently collect them at the airport. The earned BluChips will be credited within 24–48 hours after completing the purchase.
According to Neetan Chopra, Chief Digital and Information Officer at IndiGo, the partnership aims to expand the value of the airline’s loyalty programme beyond flights, offering customers more meaningful rewards and a seamless travel experience.
Suchit Bansal, CEO (Non-Aero), AAHL, highlighted that the initiative integrates digital discovery, pre-order convenience and smooth product collection, transforming how passengers shop at airports.
Currently, duty-free services under this programme are available at airports in Mumbai, Ahmedabad, Thiruvananthapuram, Jaipur, Mangaluru and Lucknow. The service is expected to expand soon to Lokapriya Gopinath Bordoloi International Airport and Navi Mumbai International Airport.
IndiGo currently operates over 2,000 daily flights connecting more than 140 destinations globally, while AAHL manages eight major airports across India. This partnership reflects a broader push by both companies to strengthen digital travel ecosystems and deliver a more integrated, rewarding experience for passengers.
