New Delhi (20.03.2026): Shri Ravi Mittal (IAS: 2016, Chhattisgarh cadre) has been appointed as Deputy Secretary at the Prime Minister’s Office (PMO), effective March 19, 2026.
The appointment was approved by the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC). According to the official letter issued by the Department of Personnel & Training (Office of the Establishment Officer), the tenure of Shri Mittal will be four years from the date of assumption of charge, or until further orders, whichever is earlier.
This appointment reflects the ACC’s ongoing efforts to strengthen key administrative positions at the central level.
