New Delhi, July 4: Vivek Aggarwal (IAS: 1994: Madhya Pradesh), Secretary, Ministry of Culture, has been entrusted with the additional charge of the post of Secretary, Ministry of Tourism.

He will hold the additional responsibility from July 3 to July 19, 2026, during the period of leave of Bhuvnesh Kumar (IAS: 1995: Uttar Pradesh), who is serving as Secretary, Ministry of Tourism.

A 1994-batch IAS officer of the Madhya Pradesh cadre, Vivek Aggarwal will continue to discharge his responsibilities as Secretary, Ministry of Culture, while simultaneously overseeing the affairs of the Ministry of Tourism during the temporary arrangement. The additional charge has been assigned to ensure the smooth functioning of the Ministry during the incumbent Secretary’s absence.
