New Delhi: If some well-placed sources are to be believed, the NaMo 3.0 is considering extensions to a few more senior-most officers holding key positions at the Centre as well as Uttar Pradesh.
It is being assumed that Tapan Kumar Deka (IPS: 1988: HP), the incumbent Chief of the Intelligence Bureau (IB) may be given an extension in the service. His two-years fixed term comes to an end on 30.06.2024.
The continuation of Dr. Pramod Kumar Mishra as Principal Secretary to Prime Minister and Ajit Doval as National Security Adviser (NSA) in NaMo 3.0 has also added to the speculation that amid strategic and political challenges looming large over the New Delhi establishment, a few more extensions in key positions are expected.
