Ashwin Shenvi, an Indian Police Service (IPS) officer from the 2006 batch of Haryana, who currently serves as the Deputy Inspector General (DIG) at the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI), has been appointed as the Joint Director of CBI. His appointment is for a tenure of five years, extending up to September 6, 2025.
