Only two officers of Indian Police Service (IPS) of Sikkim are due to retire in 2024.

Two Technical Members have been appointed to the National Company Appellate Law Tribunal (NCLAT). They are Indevar Pandey, 1988 batch IAS officer of W Bengal cadre and Jatindranath Swain, former 1988 batch IAS officer of Tamil Nadu cadre.

B Radhika has opted for voluntary retirement from the Indian Police Service (IPS) in Odisha. She is a 1989 batch IPS officer of Odisha cadre.

Lucknow : Prashant Kumar (IPS: 1990: UP), the favourite IPS officer of Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, has been appointed as the officiating Director General of Police of the state. Kumar is the fourth successive officiating DGP of the state after incumbent DGP Vijay Kumar (IPS: 1988: UP) retires today.
