In a recent reshuffle, four IPS officers have been given new assignments in Uttarakhand. Dhirendra Singh Gunjiyal has been appointed as the Assistant Inspector General of Police (AIGP) for Prisons. Meanwhile, Yaswant Singh, who previously held the dual charge as AIGP, Prisons, and Superintendent of Police (SP) of the CID, has been relieved of his AIGP, Prisons duties.
Additionally, Amit Srivastava has been transferred to the position of SP, Regional Intelligence, Uttarakhand. Mamta Vohra will take over as SP at the Police Headquarters (PHQ) in Uttarakhand, marking the latest developments in the state’s law enforcement restructuring.
