The West Bengal government has implemented a reshuffle of IAS officers, with several key appointments made across various departments:
Khalil Ahmed has been designated as the Principal Secretary of the Fire and Emergency Services Department.
Dushyant Nariala has taken over as the Additional Chief Secretary of the North Bengal Development Department, with the additional charge of Principal Secretary, GTA.
Manoj Kumar Agarwal has been appointed ACS, Forest Department, with additional responsibility as ACS, Disaster Management & Civil Defence Department.
Anshul Gupta has been posted as Special Secretary, Mass Education Extension & Library Services Department.
Sana Akhtar has been assigned as Director, Child Rights & Trafficking.
Sumant Sahay will serve as Joint Secretary in the Department of Information Technology & Electronics.
Anindya Mitra has been made Special Commissioner in the rank of Special Secretary, Food & Supplies.
Mrs. Tejasvi Rana has been appointed Director, Social Welfare.
Goutam Kumar Ghosh will serve as Special Commissioner, in the rank of Special Secretary, Finance Department.
Shaikh Ansar Ahamad has been shifted as Additional District Magistrate, Malda.
