J Nivas, a 2010 batch Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officer of the Andhra Pradesh cadre, has been appointed as Director of Census Operations/Director of Citizen Registration (Director level) for the state of Andhra Pradesh.
His appointment will be effective up to December 31, 2025. In this role, Nivas will oversee critical components of the national census exercise and citizen registration initiatives within the state, ensuring data accuracy and compliance with national standards.
