Joyanta Chakraborty (IRSEE: 2006), who was serving as Director in the Ministry of Civil Aviation, has been prematurely repatriated to his parent cadre. The repatriation has been effected to enable him to avail the benefit of promotion in his service cadre.
This move is in line with standard administrative procedure, allowing eligible officers to take up higher responsibilities in their respective parent cadres upon meeting promotion criteria. Further details regarding his new posting or role are awaited.
