K C Devasenapathi, a 2007-batch Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officer of the Chhattisgarh cadre, has been appointed as Secretary (Joint Secretary level) of the Coastal Aquaculture Authority (CAA), Chennai, under the Department of Fisheries.
The appointment has been approved for a combined tenure of seven years, extending up to August 18, 2028. The posting reflects the government’s focus on strengthening the regulatory and developmental framework of India’s aquaculture sector.
