Neeraj Mittal Gets Additional Charge of MeitY
Neeraj Mittal, a 1992 batch IAS officer of the Tamil Nadu cadre and currently serving as Secretary, Department of Telecommunications, has been entrusted with the additional charge of Secretary, Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY). He will hold this charge from June 2 to June 6, 2025, during the period of leave of S Krishnan (IAS: 1989: TN).
Deep Shikha Sharma Appointed Director of Census Operations, Himachal Pradesh
Deep Shikha Sharma, a 2011 batch officer of the Indian Forest Service (AGMUT cadre), has been appointed as Director of Census Operations/Director of Citizen Registration (Director level) for Himachal Pradesh. Her tenure will continue up to December 31, 2025.
Nikhil Pavan Kalyan Appointed Director of Census Operations, Odisha
Nikhil Pavan Kalyan, a 2012 batch IAS officer of the Odisha cadre, has been appointed as Director of Census Operations/Director of Citizen Registration (Director level) for Odisha. His appointment is also effective up to December 31, 2025.
