Krishna Kumar Tiwari, an officer of the 2011 batch of the Indian Statistical Service (ISS), who was previously serving as Deputy Secretary in the Election Commission of India (ECI), has been re-designated as Director in the same department. This re-designation is for a period extending up to 30th September 2026, which is the maximum admissible tenure of five years.
