In a significant reshuffle within Indian Railways, 14 new Divisional Railway Managers (DRMs) have been appointed across various railway zones. Among these appointments, one of the highlights is the placement of a husband-wife duo in the same order, marking a historic first for Indian Railways.
The officers appointed in the reshuffle are as follows:
Raju P. Bhadke (IRSE) – DRM, Vadodara (Western Railway), replacing Jeetendra Singh (IRSEE).
Panna Lal (IRSE) – DRM, Salem (Southern Railway), replacing Pankaj Kumar Sinha (IRSS).
Rajneesh Aggarwal (IRTS) – DRM, Prayagraj (North Central Railway), replacing Himanshu Bhadoni (IRSE).
Uday Singh Mina (IRSME) – DRM, Deen Dayal Upadhyay (East Central Railway), replacing Rajesh Gupta (IRSSE).
Pradeep Lakshmanrao Kamle (IRSME) – DRM, Nanded (South Central Railway), replacing Neeti Sarkar (IRAS).
Akhilesh Misra (IRSME) – DRM, Dhanbad (East Central Railway), replacing Kamal Kishore Sinha (IRTS).
Subhash C. Chaudhary (IRSEE) – DRM, Sambalpur (East Coast Railway), replacing Tushar Kant Pandey (IRSE).
Md Manzar Hussain (IRSEE) – DRM, Tinsukia (Northeast Frontier Railway), replacing Uttam Prakash (IRSME).
Sunil Kumar Verma (IRSSE) – DRM, Lucknow (Northern Railway), replacing S. M. Sharma (IRSME).
Mudit Mittal (IRAS) – DRM, Mysuru (South Western Railway), replacing Shilpi Agarwal (IRAS).
Sudeshna Sen (IRAS) – DRM, Guntur (South Central Railway), replacing M. Ramakrishna (IRSEE).
Rajeev Saxena (IRSS) – DRM, Sealdah (Eastern Railway), replacing Deepak Nigam (IRSME).
Anurag Tripathi (IRPS) – DRM, Jodhpur (North Western Railway), replacing Pankaj Kumar Singh (IRSEE).
In an interesting and rare development, Mudit Mittal and Sudeshna Sen, both serving in the Indian Railway Accounts Service (IRAS), have been appointed as DRMs of Mysuru and Guntur, respectively. This marks the first time that a husband and wife have been appointed as DRMs through the same reshuffle.
