Neeraj Mittal (IAS: 1992: TN), currently serving as Secretary, Department of Telecommunications, will continue to hold the additional charge of Secretary, Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY) until June 11, 2025.
This arrangement is in place during the period of leave of S. Krishnan (IAS: 1989: TN), the regular Secretary of MeitY.
The continuation of the additional charge ensures administrative continuity in the ministry, which oversees critical policy areas such as digital infrastructure, cybersecurity, and electronic manufacturing.
