Roohi Khan, an officer of the 2013 batch of the Indian Administrative Service (IAS) from Madhya Pradesh, who was serving as Deputy Secretary in the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, has been prematurely repatriated to her parent cadre on personal grounds.
This decision includes the provision of an “extended cooling off” period, which is typically granted in cases where an officer seeks to return to their parent cadre before completing their deputation tenure.
