Satish Kumar, currently serving as Member (Traction & Rolling Stock) of the Railway Board, has been appointed Chairman & Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Railway Board. A 1986 batch officer of the Indian Railway Service of Mechanical Engineering (IRSME), Kumar brings extensive experience and expertise to this pivotal role, overseeing the strategic direction and operational efficiency of India’s railways.
