In a recent administrative move, two Indian Police Service officers currently serving at the National Police Academy (NPA) have been appointed as Deputy Directors through temporary upgradation of their existing posts.
S Chaitanya (IPS: 2011: MH) and Siva Prasad Yellasiri (IPS: 2011: SK), both serving as Assistant Directors at NPA, have been elevated to the post of Deputy Director. The decision to temporarily upgrade their posts aims to strengthen the leadership structure and support the institution’s core training and administrative responsibilities.
