In a significant administrative reshuffle, the Chhattisgarh government has assigned new portfolios to 11 IAS officers. Notably, Janmejay Mahobe has taken on the additional role of Director for Women & Child Development, while Jagdish Sonkar has been appointed Joint Secretary in the Secretariat. S. Jaivardhan is now the Collector of Surajpur.
Other notable appointments include Vijay Dayaram K, who has been given the additional charge of Managing Director for the National Rural Health Mission, and Ravi Mittal, who will also serve as CEO of Samwad and Project Director for the Chirag Project.
Further, Mrs. Tulila Prajapati has been designated as Collector for Mohala-Manpur-Ambagarh Chowki, Rohit Vyas will serve as Collector of Jashpur, and Ms. Pratishta Mamgai has been appointed CEO of Zila Panchayat in Bastar. Kumar Bishwaranjan will take on the role of Deputy Secretary in the Secretariat, and Jayant Nahta has been named CEO of Zila Panchayat in Dantewada. These changes aim to enhance governance and improve service delivery across the state.
