The Central Board of Indirect Taxes and Customs (CBIC), under the Department of Revenue, Ministry of Finance, on Thursday issued orders for the transfer and posting of 33 IRS officers from the 1990 to 1993 batches. These changes have been made at the level of Principal Chief Commissioner/Principal Director General and Chief Commissioner/Director General of Customs and Indirect Taxes.
