As many as 26 IAS officers of various cadres and batches are retiring in January 2024. The officers are: Praveen Kumar Gupta of AGMUT cadre; Amarendra Kum and Kumar Thakur of Bihar cadre; Mukesh Puri, K M Bhimajiyani, M A Gandhi, D K Parekh and D D Kapadiya of Gujarat; Kamleshwar Prasad Singh, Yatindra Prasa Sunil Kumar, Ms Indu Rani and Sanjay Bihari Ambastha of Jharkhand; Jawai Akhtar of Karnataka; Gyanesh Kumar of Kerala; Ashish Kumar of MP cadre; V M Yanthan and Peter Lichamo of Nagaland cadre; Dr Suresh Chandra Dalai, Gyanaranjan Das, Rabindra Nath Sahu of Odisha; Raja Ram of UP; Achintya Kumar Pa Esha Sengupta, Mahua Banerjee and Subhas Sinha of West Bengal.
