Ms. Manasi Sahay Thakur, a 2009-batch Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officer from the Himachal Pradesh (HP) cadre, has been appointed as the new Director in the Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs. With her vast administrative experience, Ms. Thakur is expected to play a key role in shaping policies and initiatives related to urban development and housing in India.
