The Odisha government has announced a reshuffle of senior Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officers. Ms. Chithra Arumugam has been designated as the Principal Secretary (PS) for the Labour and ESI Department, while retaining her role as PS for the Science and Technology Department. In another significant move, Ms. Yamini Sarangi will assume the role of Commissioner of Commercial Taxes and GST, with the additional charge of Special Secretary in the Finance Department.
Other key appointments include Sudhansu Mohan Samal, who has been posted as the Managing Director of Odisha Mining Corporation Limited, and Indramani Tripathy, who will serve as the Labour Commissioner of Odisha. Trilochan Majhi has been assigned as the Additional Secretary in the Home Department, and Siddhartha Das has been appointed as the Registrar of Cooperative Societies in Odisha.
Additionally, Bijay Kumar Prusty will take over as Director of Estates and ex-officio Additional Secretary to the General Administration and Public Grievance Department, while Satyabrata Rout has been posted as Additional Secretary in the Works Department. Ms. Monica Priyadarshini has been appointed as the Mission Director for the Odisha Livelihoods Mission, and Ms. Poma Tudu will serve as the Commissioner of Food Safety and Managing Director of TDCCOL, while continuing her role as Director, ST.
