Inder Deep Singh Dhariwal, a senior officer of the Indian Audit and Accounts Service (IA&AS) from the 1992 batch, has been prematurely repatriated to his parent cadre. Until now, he was serving as Joint Secretary in the Ministry of Corporate Affairs.
The reasons for the early repatriation have not been officially disclosed. Dhariwal had been appointed to the Ministry of Corporate Affairs as part of a central deputation, where he played a key role in overseeing financial regulatory frameworks and corporate governance initiatives.
