The Ministry of Home Affairs on Monday issued a notification regarding a cadre change for Indian Police Service (IPS) officer Nivranshu Hans (2023 batch). Originally allotted to the Nagaland cadre, Hans has now been transferred to the Assam-Meghalaya cadre.
The change has been made on the grounds of his marriage to Shivani Jerngal, an Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officer of the 2022 batch, who is currently serving in the Assam-Meghalaya cadre.
