The Government of India has appointed Dr. Deepak Mittal (IFS: 1998) as the next Ambassador of India to the United Arab Emirates (UAE).
A seasoned diplomat from the 1998 batch of the Indian Foreign Service, Dr. Mittal is expected to take up the new assignment shortly. His appointment comes at a time of growing strategic and economic ties between India and the UAE.
