New Delhi: The post of Deputy Secretary in the Department of Water Resources, River Development & Ganga Rejuvenation, presently held by Davinder Suman (IFoS: 2012: AM), has been re-designated as Director for a period up to October 7, 2030, completing the total admissible tenure of five years.
According to the official order, her central deputation tenure is effective from October 8, 2025. The re-designation reflects the enhanced responsibilities and strategic importance of the role within the department, which plays a key part in water resource management, river development and the Ganga rejuvenation programme.
