Noida/Delhi-NCR: Delhi-NCR woke up to a chilling incident on Saturday after the bodies of a young couple were discovered inside a parked car near Sector 39 in Noida.
Sumit and Rekha, both in their early 20s, were found with gunshot wounds to their heads inside a Tata Altroz. According to initial police findings, Sumit allegedly shot Rekha before turning the pistol on himself.
The incident came to light when passersby noticed the car parked under suspicious circumstances and alerted authorities. Police reached the spot and recovered the bodies, sending them for post-mortem examination.
While investigators are still piecing together the exact sequence of events leading up to the deaths, preliminary inquiries suggest that the case may be linked to a strained or troubled love affair. Officials are examining call records, forensic evidence, and statements from family members to ascertain the motive.
