Veteran screenwriter Salim Khan, father of Bollywood superstar Salman Khan, has been admitted to Lilavati Hospital after his health suddenly deteriorated. He is currently under observation in the ICU. According to reports, his condition is stable, though he is facing difficulty speaking.
Salman Khan Visits Father at Hospital
Salman Khan rushed to the hospital to meet his father. He was seen wearing a mask and cap and did not interact with the media. His sister Alvira Khan Agnihotri was also spotted outside the hospital. The family is said to be concerned about Salim Khan’s health.
A Legendary Career in Bollywood
Born on November 24, 1935, Salim Khan is one of the most celebrated screenwriters and producers in Hindi cinema. He formed an iconic writing duo with Javed Akhtar, and together they were famously known as Salim-Javed.

On the personal front, Salim Khan married Helen after his first marriage to Sushila Charak. Both wives share a cordial relationship and live together. He has five children — Salman Khan, Arbaaz Khan, Sohail Khan, Alvira Khan, and Arpita Khan. Arpita was adopted by Salim Khan and Helen.
