The Central Government on Tuesday issued fresh notifications regarding appointments, tenure extensions, and cadre movements involving senior officials.

The deputation tenure of Arunita Phukan Yadav, Executive Director at the Tea Board in Guwahati under the Department of Commerce, has been extended for one more year. The extension will be effective from June 1, 2026, to May 31, 2027.

In another decision, Amit Mohan Govil, Director General of the Central Economic Intelligence Bureau under the Department of Revenue, has been given an extension of additional charge as Director of the Financial Intelligence Unit-India for a period of six months starting February 11, 2026.

Meanwhile, Ashutosh Niranjan, who was serving as Private Secretary to Union Minister Virendra Kumar in the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment, has been prematurely repatriated to his parent cadre. This move will allow him to avail the benefit of promotion within his cadre.

These decisions are part of the government’s ongoing administrative restructuring and кадров management aimed at ensuring efficiency and career progression within the civil services.
