The Central Government has issued a new set of administrative orders covering tenure extensions and additional charge assignments for several senior officials across departments.

Simmi Chaudhary, Economic Adviser in the Ministry of MSME, has received a six-month extension of additional charge as Financial Adviser (FA) at the Khadi and Village Industries Commission, Mumbai, effective from January 12, 2026.

Nand Kumarum, President & CEO of the National e-Governance Division, has been given ex-post facto additional charge as CEO of MyGov for the period from July 9, 2025, to November 23, 2025.

Similarly, Ajit Kumar, Joint Secretary in the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology, has been entrusted with ex-post facto additional charge as CEO of MyGov for six months starting November 24, 2025, or until a regular appointment is made.

The tenure of Nidhi Kesarwani, Joint Secretary in the Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade, has been extended by two years beyond June 3, 2026.

In another development, the additional charge of Development Commissioner of Noida Special Economic Zone held by Deen Bandhu Singh has been curtailed. The role has now been assigned to Vimal Anand, Joint Secretary in the Department of Commerce, for a period of six months.

Additionally, the inter-cadre deputation of Kanwardeep Kaur from Punjab cadre to AGMUT cadre (Chandigarh segment) has been extended for one year beyond March 8, 2026.

These decisions are part of the Centre’s ongoing efforts to streamline governance and ensure continuity in key administrative roles.
