Pankaj Agrawal (IAS: 1992: MP), currently serving as Secretary in the Ministry of Power, has been entrusted with the additional charge of Secretary, Ministry of Coal.
As per the official order, Pankaj Agrawal will hold the additional responsibility from May 9, 2026 to May 19, 2026 during the leave period of Vikram Dev Dutt (IAS: 1993: AGMUT).
The temporary arrangement has been made to ensure uninterrupted functioning of the Ministry of Coal during the absence of the incumbent secretary.
