New Delhi: Prateek Singh Meena (IRAS: 2012) has been appointed as Executive Director (Director Level) in the Tribal Cooperative Marketing Development Federation of India Headquarters in Delhi.
An officer of the Indian Railway Accounts Service (IRAS) of the 2012 batch, Meena will take up the Director-level position in TRIFED, the apex national organization working for the socio-economic development of tribal communities through marketing support for tribal products, livelihood promotion and institutional capacity building.
As Executive Director, he will be involved in overseeing key operational and developmental initiatives of TRIFED, which functions under the Ministry of Tribal Affairs and plays a crucial role in promoting tribal artisans, forest produce gatherers and tribal enterprises across the country.
