New Delhi, July 4: Lokhande Prashant Sitaram (IAS: 2001: AGMUT), Chairperson of the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), Ministry of Education, has been appointed as Additional Secretary in the Department of Home, Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA).
Along with his new assignment, the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) has entrusted him with the additional charge of the post of Chairperson, Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), Ministry of Education, until further orders.
A 2001-batch IAS officer of the AGMUT cadre, Lokhande brings extensive administrative experience to his new role in the Ministry of Home Affairs while continuing to oversee the functioning of CBSE during the interim period.
