Senior IAS officer Abhijit Sinha (IAS: 2000: NL), serving as Additional Secretary in the Department of Home, Ministry of Home Affairs, has been repatriated to his parent cadre.
The repatriation comes following a request from the Government of Nagaland, indicating that the state administration seeks his services for key responsibilities back home. Sinha, known for his administrative experience and policy insight, is expected to take up a significant role in the state government upon his return.
His tenure at the central government has included critical contributions to internal security and administrative coordination under the Ministry of Home Affairs.
