New Delhi : Abhilasha Joshi (IFS: 1995), presently serving as Additional Secretary in the Ministry of External Affairs, has been appointed as the next Ambassador of India to the Republic of Chile. Soumendu Bagchi (IFS: 1993), who is presently as DDG, ICWA, has been appointed as the next Ambassador of India to the Republic of Iraq. They are expected to take up the assignment shortly.
